Might not need doc!: You may not need for these hives. Use Benadryl or its generic medication religiously every 6 hours for 24 hours after hives have resolved. Keep skin cool. Can add Claritan or its generic as well. Avoid what you think cause could be. If severe itching, involvement of lips/mouth, short of breath, lasts more than a week , then see doctor for possible use of steroids.
