Dizziness started Aug 22nd 2021.No other symptoms.1wk later, ENT sees middle ear infection with effusion, prescribes betahistine 8mg 2/day & xozal 1/day for 1mon, Augmentin for 10d.Neurol. cleared, BP okay, Gluc. ok, b12,D,Iron ok. Why still dizzy?
Can Betahistine cause mental problems? As it affects histamine release in the brain. Couldn't that lead to other problems in the brain?
