Pancreatitis : Everyone experiences disease symptoms in their own way. Pancreatitis could therefore just present with back pain, although it would be more usual to have other symptoms like mid abdominal pain, nausea, trouble eating, fever etc. Clinical clues should be looked for --prior episodes and symptoms, alcohol use, meds etc plus physical exam findings and labs. There r other causes for back pain-check MD.
