Orthopedic: mri shows right foraminal narrowing (moderate-sev) but notes no central cervical spinal canal stenosis. any impingement into spinal cord?

Likely not: neuroforaminal narrowing suggest that the nerve root exiting that foramen may be getting "pinched". Follow up with your doctor.

Not neccesarily cord: With neuroforaminal narrowing, more likely would be nerve root rather than spinal cord impingement-can cause similar symptoms and findings

Spinal stenosis : There is no spinal cord compression if there is no significant central canal stenosis. The nerve root exiting from the spinal cord is compressed in a moderate to severe degree. Cervical traction, physical therapy, and selective nerve blocks are often used as first line therapies to relieve the pain prior to surgical decompression of the nerve.
