Liver: Yes you could feel soreness in your liver if it is inflamed. Blood tests may be a better indicator

Liver pain: Interesting question. Actually, your liver has no sensory nerves. However, it is covered with a fibrous tissue called Glisson's capsule. If the liver is inflamed this stretches Glisson's capsule and this can cause discomfort.
