Might be: Dull right sided abdominal pain is not uncommon with enlarged liver. Pain can also be due to gallbladder disease, musculoskeletal pain or no problem at all. If you are worried your liver may be enlarged, you should see you Primary care for an examination and blood work if indicated.

Possibly: Pain could injury , intercostal muscles, ligaments that support the rib cage and costochondritis inflammation of anterior rib. Cholecystitis, gall bladder inflammation /infection is characterized by pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen can refer pain to rib cage. Enlarged liver can cause discomfort and fullness in the right (anterior) upper quadrant of the abdomen, under ribs. See Dr.
