Please evaluate: The abdominal discomfort with unusual colored stools could be due to either a red or pink food he ate. A more concerning scenario is that the discoloration is due to blood. Please have him evaluated.

Stool: The pink colored stool may be due to an anal fissure brought about by constipation. You might want to reduce milk and milk product and increase fiber in the diet. And by all means have your child checked by the doctor
