Depends on patient: Drug treatment for this condition is usually based on depressing the nervous system. Opiods, beta-blockers, Dopamine agonists, and benzodiazepines have been used among other medications. Usually, when there such a variety of treatment options, it means there is not one single best treatment. Instead, therapy must be individualized to a given patient on a case by case basis.
