When do you re-evaluate bp medicine? it usually is 152/80 on first check, then they re-check, 135/80, they send me home, shouldn't they change bp med

Re-check at home: I would recommend you check your BP a few times a week when you are away from the MDs office as it may be elevated due to white coat hypertension or if they check it immediately after you walk through the door. Ideally, BP should be taken after you have been sitting quietly for 10-15 min. If still elevated away from the MDs office, there may need to be an adjustment in your medication.
