Reactive Sugar: Your response is not normal, however it can happen at the start of metformin. It works by making your body use what insulin you have to break down sugars. By itself it doesn't drop blood sugars but if you body is using insulin and sugar properly your blood sugar can fall and make you feel that way. Let your doctor know so alarming causes can be ruled out but it does happen.
