A member asked:

I'm 25 years old i'm taking amlodipine 10mg for almost a week but i still have hbp. is this normal? why this pill takes so long to lower my bp?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A little longer: Optimal BP results generally take a week or two after changing or initiating therapy. Give it a little more time, then contact your physician if BP remains unacceptable.
