Now: If additional studies are indicated, there is no reason to delay. If you had contrast from the previous CT scan, it has been eliminated from your system. If you are at risk for kidney problems, you made need a blood test to check your renal function if you just had a contrast injection last week. Otherwise, no reason to delay.

Soon: If your kidney function is normal despite the small lesions. Contrast can transiently hurt kidneys, but usually in a few days has cleared. Your urologist or nephrologist will guide you.
