It depends: It depends on the type of lesion and the type of CT/MRI performed. They are complementary tests, for some applications CT may be more appropriate, for some MRI, and for some both may be needed. However, if the MRI was tailored specifically to evaluate the CT finding, and was technically adequate, and was normal, it may be that he CT finding was an artifact. Your doctor can help you sort it out

Hard to say: If there is a lesion that is invisible on MRI though, it is not likely to have any clinical significance.
