UTI Treatment: Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is an antibiotic commonly used to treat urinary tract infections. Sometimes you can have an infection with a bacteria that is resistant to Cipro (ciprofloxacin). See your doctor again. They may do a urine culture to see what bacteria you have and what antibiotics it is sensitive to.
