Nothing Harmful: India is probably one of the most populous countries in the world. Turmeric (in curry) is a major staple of the Indian diet--with consumption averaging about three grams of Turmeric each day. I don't believe pregnant Indian women reduce their consumption of Turmeric. On the other hand, Turmeric is a powerful anti-inflammatory substance, and aids the maintenance of healthy levels of Fibrinogen.
