Yes: Yes. You can breastfeed your infant no matter what the age of prematurity. Sometimes higher calories are needed for increasing weight when only limited amounts of feedings are tolerated. You can add calories to the breast milk as well if needed. Consult your pediatrician and neonatologist.

May or may not: Depends on how premature and what problems the baby is having, I am sure the neonatologist will let you know if it is ok or not and keep u informed of the baby's care.
