Cont Asthma meds: I would advise continued use of your asthma medication as prescribed by your physician. If you are slightly allergic to dogs, try your best to avoid them. Vacuuming and cleaning all areas of dog hair and dander will help reduce the exposure.

Protect the lungs: Hi JS789, many people with asthma have allergies. Whether it be dogs or pollen, prevention is key. Flovent is a steroid which helps control inflammation. Having your albuterol handy is important as well. Consider pretreating with albuterol before contact with the dogs. Also, consider treating allergies with antihistamines like loratidine or cetirizine, as they can affect your asthma as well.
