A member asked:

During a colposcopy, is the number of biopsies taken an indication that there is higher risk of something being wrong? like 4 samples? i know it vari

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: The areas of biopsies are guided by the gross appearance of the colonic mucosa...that is why the colonoscopist has to have a good background on the gross pathology of the colon mucosa or wall.
