Low vitamin d: If you don't replenish your vitamin d it means that it will continue to be low unless you are exposed to sunlight and even then- I'm not sure if you will completely solve the problem. Regarding calcium- or is better to get it through your diet than a pill so increase your servings of foods high on calcium such as milk, yogurt, cheese, etc.

Osteoporosis: Your body will just get the calcium it needs from your bones. This will make the bones become more brittle quicker. If you don't take Vitamin D, you will likely be unable to use the Ca supplement you are taking which is why they recommend taking both. Lots of information available online if you want to know more.
