A member asked:

My doctor says is ok to take 5600iu of vitamin d and 1200mg of calcium daily ( i am pregnant) is my doctor right? thank you.

Vit D: Have you had a blood test that showed you have severe vit D deficiency? If so maybe that's why you've been given that advice. Although its considered safe to take up to 4000 units a day, I haven't heard advice for pregnant women to take more than 1000 units daily. I think You should double check your doctors advice to take 5600 iu's daily.
