Hard to say: It is one of four bones: your femur (your thigh bone), your patella (the knee cap) or one of your two leg bones (tibia or fibula). I recommend you ask your doctor which one you broke.

Tibia, fibula, femur: A full leg cast can be used to treat a fracture of any bone above the ankle. The tibia and fibula are the bones that run from your ankle to your knee and your femur goes from knee to hip. There is one other small bone - the patella that sits at the front of your knee joint.
