I have swollen lymph nodes in face and neck for 5 years causing swelling. how can i make my dr's take me seriously? scared it may be cancer.

Bx if necessary: Rule is that if there is a cancer that is left alone it will GROW on you. If there are questionable unchanged lumps in the face and neck for 5 years they can not be of concern. If they enlarge, become painful or increase in number then bx is indicated.
