When they decide to : I have a hard time accepting tooth eruption as a cause for the fussy days of infants. On average: And know that this is only an average and can vary widely. The 20 baby teeth usually start erupting between 6-9 months, and have all erupted by about age 3. Permanent teeth start erupting at about 6-7 for girls, 7-8 for boys, and 28 of the 32 permanent teeth (excluding wisdom teeth) have erupted by age 12-13. See Dentist or Pedodontist by Age 1.
