WBC's in Urine: White blood cells (WBC's) in urine denote some inflammation, not necessairily infection. Make sure to get the urine test repeated after your son has been well hydrated as many times dehydration causes local inflammation and show white cells in urine. If repeat testing show persistance of WBC's, other causes of inflammation in bladder or kidney disease, including stones, need to be ruled out.
