Low platelets!: Petechiae are tiny hemorrhages due to low or dysfunctional platelets. Even though you had a platelet count of 284 (normal) in March, your platelets could have dropped since then. This can happen with CLL, or it can be a side effect of medication. Call your doctor and let him or her know right away. You need a CBC and a visit ASAP!
