Dad was taken to the er last night in a delerium. all they found was low magnesium, have given him 2 rounds of it, not much help will they admit him?

Hard to say: Typically when someone is delirious- you would want to find a cause for it. Low magnesium I suppose could do this but if te magnesium is corrected and he continues to be delirious more investigation may be warranted. There is no way for us to tell if he will be admitted for certain but if he is not then investigations an still be done by his primary care doctor.
