Probably not, but:: If the specimen was only mildly hemolyzed it would not affect serum creatinine. Magnesium can be elevated in a hemolyzed specimen. The best thing to do is to repeat the test and hopefully the blood specimen won't hemolyze and you will get accurate results. Then if the results are abnormal your doc can discuss this with you.
