Hemiarthroplasty - combined with footdrop. anyone experienced this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May be nerve damage: Even the most carefully done orthopedic procedure can result in nerve impingement, and if the sciatic nerve is impinged a foot drop can result. A neurological evaluation (possibly including an nerve conduction study or electromyography) can help determine if this is the case, and guide further treatment.
