If the knee sustains more than one injury, does the first injury completely heal even if there are no symptoms or is there evidence of prior injury?

How severe?: I believe, the answer to the question is related to how severe the initial injury was. If there was a mild injury, with short recovery time I believe there would be no FUNCTIONAL effects from the initial injury, though some old scarring may be seen on an MRI. If the initial injury was serious, requiring surgery, or protracted recovery, then lasting signs and symptoms will be more likely.
