A member asked:

What to do if i'm 36 and have been farsighted since i was eight. what to do if i'm currently wearing a +4.25. is there a valid surgery that can correct this?

LASIK: Lasik surgery can correct this degree of farsightedness. You need to have your eyes evaluated to see if the corneal tissue is right for this type of surgery, but mostly it is. LASIK surgeons are constantly advertising so finding one should not be too difficult. You can ask your regular ophthalmologist for a recommendation.
