Stops breathing: Morphine overdose will make the person stop breathing. With no breathing, oxygen levels in the blood will start to go down until they are too low for the heart to function. The person's heart will then stops. The blood flow to the brain will then be interrupted, brain will cease receiving oxygen via the blood and brain tissue will die and stop working. The person is then dead.
