Be cautious: I had one kid hospitalized for dehydration 3 times over 2 months when her body reacted at the start of foods.Mom quit work, went back to total breast feeding and didn't do solids until 10 mo.Most never do, but I wait until 6 mo when they are less frail and use a low complexity food like rice cereal to start.
