Honest answer: Hi. I've had type 1 diabetes for 40 years, and there are only 2 things I don't like about being diabetic: 1) severe hypoglycemia, and 2) eating to treat/prevent hypoglycemia when I'm not hungry. If you're blood glucose is low, you simply have to eat something (or you'll be waking up on the floor looking up at paramedics). Try juice. Sometimes it goes down better when you're not hungry.
