Been in bed all day with gastroenteritis. stabbing chest pain on left getting worse as is severe back muscle pain. any way to aleve (naproxen) symptoms for rest?

See doctor: Chest pain and back pain are by no means typical manifestations of uncomplicated gastroenteritis. Are you vomiting, do you have gallstones, do you drink lots of alcohol? Could this be pancreatitis? These are symptoms which should prompt a visit to your family doctor.

OTC: Try tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen. Also heating pad to those areas.
