Serious Rx: You'll need both a topical agent such as topical benzoyl peroxide and prescription-strength Rx from your physician, probably a systemic antibiotic for a few months. If you are offered isotretinoin, most folks are very happy with this choice but it's not for the faint-hearted. If you're female, there are other options. Best wishes.
