Systemic Rx: Acne on the trunk doesn't respond well to topical therapy though some may be offered as an adjunct. Your physician may offer you a systemic antibiotic such as tetracycline 500 2x/day. If you're not satisfied in a month, consider accutane. It's not cheap, pleasant, or without risks, but it may well be worth it.
