A member asked:

My aldosterone was < 1.0 ng/dl is this low? being checked for tiredness, hair falling out, acne, weight gain. she is checking all of my hormones

Low: Normal values for aldosterone in adults are 5 to 80 ng/dl when standing or sitting and 3 to 16 when lying down. Acne and weight gain are more commonly seen with Cushings Disease, but sounds as if your doctor is on track to find the your cause of your tiredness.
