Without having an instantaneous blood draw, how can one know for sure if their near-death experiences are from adrenal emergencies? (dangerously low cortisol and aldosterone)?

Near death: If you are talking about near death experiences like seeing 'the light' or dead loved ones, I am unaware of anyone proving a mechanism for this.

You decide: I have followed these for decades and especially for the autoscopic elements, I favor a paranormal explanation. If it was an adrenal issue, you would see these in Addisonism before the end, and people would be taking metyrapone for spiritual experiences. Aldosterone is mostly a dispensable hormone. We can believe in Love without knowing for sure what to make if these remarkable accounts.
