Variable.: Depends on the weightlifting technique you employ, how much effort you put into your lifts, how often you're training each body part (less frequently may be better for adequate recovery in between lifts - like each body part once weekly) and how you're nourishing your muscles - complex carbohydrates before your lifts and good quality proteins after.
