A member asked:

How much time does a person have when they have been diagonsed with terminal pancreatic cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Short: Once recurrent pancreas cancer has been defined and fails to respond to chemo the prognosis is short lived. Chemo such as Gemzar (gemcitabine) and Abraxane have added about 3-5 months to survival. New monoclonals are in study which may bring this process under better control
