None proven but...: Tobacco smoke contains hundreds of toxic chemicals. Vapor from e-cigs is mostly nicotine, but has other toxic chemicals as well (there is little data on these). No benefits: Overall, there is no real difference. E-Cigarettes deliver the nicotine to the user in a very similar fashion as a regular cigarette (hand and mouth movement). there is no benefits to your health, none. Quitting is probably the greatest single step you can take to improve your health. Good luck.
