Started smoking vapour cigarettes this morning to help quit and haven't had a proper cigarette in 10 hours but got a horrible headache is this normal?

Headache is never: normal. It is not unusual for people to experience headaches, when they first quit smoking. It is possible, that the headaches experienced during nicotine withdrawal, are the result of fluctuating serotonin and Dopamine levels. NSAIDs over the counter is recommended every 6 hours. Keep up a good job.
