Absolutely: Like nicotine patches and gum, electronic cigarettes are a safe way to take nicotine which is what makes tobacco products addictive. The dangers from smoking cigarettes are the result of burned organic material creating tars and carbon monoxide. Other than its addictive properties nicotine does not appear to be a big contributor to the long term health problems associated with smoking.
