Technique: critical: It's easy to overdue homecare when gums are inflamed. Brushing should be gentle with a SOFT toothbrush taking a full 2 minutes after eating ANYTHING. Carefully floss between every 2 teeth in a non-aggressive unhurried way twice a day. Rinsing with warm saltwater 3-4 times a day will soothe inflamed tissues. Alternate the warm saltwater rinses with 50/50 dilution of hydrogen peroxide/water.

7-10 days : if properly treated. However, if not properly treated may lead to an advanced gum disease and even tooth loos due to destruction of the tissue that surrounds your teeth.
