Gingivitis: Gingivitis ican heal, it it can also reoccur if you discontinue your good oral hygiene habits and allow the bacteria to build up again. Keep up with your brushing, flossing and regular dental care.

Depends on you: Did you have adequate treatment or just let the problem go on its own? The bacterial disease is needing intervention by the dentist and home care following to not accelerate into periodontitis.
