See your dentist: If you have a dental infection, you should see your dentist right away. There is a link between oral infections and the rest of the body. There are a few various options which could resolve the situation you have described. Infected tooth: Removing infected tooth will allow beginning of healing process. Because of the length of time the infected tooth went untreated, additional care may be required. Additionally speak to your Dentist about replacing the extracted tooth to prevent bite collapse. Follow, do not ignore, your Dentist's advice.
