Get the glasses: I think you mean DVD or dissociated vertical deviatiion Steve. This means the eyes have a tendency to drift upward at times and cause momentary visual blurring. I would guess that you are far sighted and thus the eyes have to focus more. You need the glasses to help. If the eyes drift inward the glasses will help that also. The black line should eventually go away. It's good you had an exam.
