Here are some ...: Kidney drop or nephroptosis has become outdated medical terminology although it was once speculated and hyped as being clinically significant. But, decades-long experience including more sophisticated renal functional scan has shown to be just a congenital anatomical variation resulting from "poor" fixation or attachment of kidneys to back wall of the body. So, don't worry about it.
