Been noticing my egfr levels drop. my levels in jan 130ml. i had 3 iv iron infusions 1 in mar & 2 in may. now my levels are 110ml. could iv iron cause a decrease in kidney function?

Treatment with intravenous iron does not affect kidney function. Please note than eGFR is calculated from serum creatinine & lab results vary a lot from time to time. eGFR of 130 cc/min is beyond normal and it could happen with high volume. At your age, eGFR above 90 cc/min is normal. You have nothing to concern. Take care.

I dont think so. Some fluctuation in GFR can occur normally. Best is a clse followup. good luck
