Topical antifungals: Depending on the type of fungus that is present, there are a variety of topical antifungals. Sometimes they infect the palms as well as the plantar surface of the feet. There are also other non-medication strategys to use like leather shoes, drying the shoes out for 24 hours before wearing again, cotton socks to wick perspiration and a variety of powders as well.

Fungus: About what sort of internal fungus are u speaking? Peeling foot may be athlete's foot fungus, that can be treated with otc cream like lamisil (terbinafine). Foot soaks with epsom salts & tee tree oil can help as can soaks in 10% bleach solution (1 cup bleach to 10 cups water) followed by plain water rinse. Dry thoroughly. Sterilize socks & footwear. Oral antifungals challenge liver more than kidney.
